 After the huge purchase of Transbus bodied Volvo doubledeckers followed by the East Lancs bodied VDLs purchases switched to the Alexander Dennis Enviro400. This example, 6456 (GN58BTE), is on display at the Maidstone & District Centenary Rally in April 2011, sporting route branding for the 101 Express. |

 Forward to September 2017 and 6459 (SN58ENY) is seen in Maidstone High Street. This Enviro400 has been transferred from Arriva the Shires where it had been displaced from the 280 Aylesbury - Oxford service by Euro6 engined Enviros which complied with Oxford City pollution regulations.
