At the main departure point for tours of Startford on Avon is Metrobus 205, bearing the cherished registration GVV205 which came off Northampton's 205, a Daimler CVG6/Roe.
Three years earlier, minus its Guide Friday branding, 205 visited Showbus international 2001. It used to be London M255 (BYX255V).
A full open topper down on the South Coast at Eastbourne in June 2003 is 358 (KGY158V), the registration masking the original identity of this bus. It used to be London M171 (BYX171V).

For many years Ensignbus has extended its support to SHOWBUS by providing one of its many open-toppers from its worldwide City Sightseeing fleet for use as SHOWBUS Rally Control. Former London MCW Metrobus M633 (KYX633X) is the regular choice. The bus is believed to have been used on the former Harrods London Tour and as such has some useful table arrangements in the sheltered part of the top deck and a small kitchenette area downstairs. The bus is seen on the Saturday as the whole site is being prepared for SHOWBUS 2009.
