Arriva London AEC Routemaster Park Royal open top RMC1464

Arriva has extablished a Routemaster heritage fleet. The various buses are available for hire, but are used for promotional work and were frequent rally attenders. Open top former Green Line RMC1464 (464CLT) is seen at the Alton Rally on a very hot day in 2006.

Arriva London AEC Routemaster Park Royal RMC1453 route 38

The first production Routemaster coach was RMC1453 (453CLT). Apart from the Arriva London red livery this RMC has not been disfigured by decapitation. The bus is seen at the 2008 Duxford rally.

Arriva London AEC Routemaster Park Royal RM5

In 2009 Arriva treated RM5 to a thorough overhaul and authentic restoration. The project was accompanied by the release of a special EFE model and a video of the work done. RM5 was thus displayed next to the EFE marquee at SHOWBUS in the September where it is seen in readiness in late afternoon sun on the Saturday.

No late afternoon sun the following year as RM5 arrives at a damp Showbus.
