Red Rover's first successful Hertfordshire tender was for Tring town service, once operated by London Country's Tring depot with the green Merlin, XMB15 (SMM15F). Normally the preserve of the Optare City Pacers ex Portsmouth 154 (KCR114P) has temporary route information in the windscreen at the launch of the service, route 27. The route has since reverted to its London route number 387 with operator Red Rose. |

Route 28 was another enterprising service this time to Haddenham's Sunday Market from Aylesbury and operated in conjunction with the Market promoter. The promoter also organised Wendover Market and that too was served by special Red Rover Market Day services. National 154 is seen at the Haddenham Market.
