The HUDs were followed by more conservative vehicles, still Bedfords, but back with Plaxton Supreme IV Express coachwork. Both 136 and 137 were rarely used on bus work despite the express bodywork and three track route number blinds. This is the first of four "official" shots of 136 posed for brochure images when new. Stan Ginger is the driver and the prospective passengers, John and Marion Croxford, were company employees.
