SEPTA 817 leads the line up of New Flyer E40LFR at Frankford depot, joined by diesel D40LF 5795. The trolleys also have diesel power Cummins QSB 4.5 litre engine for emergency use. Trolleys were making use of the diesel power to manoeuvre around the depot.

Second of the batch of new trolleys, 801, is out of service having arrived at Frankford on the 66 and is moving under diesel power with the booms down.

At the Transportation Center's Bus Station trolley 803 is resting with the booms down, while 829 heads off on service under electric propulsion and bike rack in use.
