Nashville MTA has a fleet of around 200 buses housed in these extensive premises, not too far from the main downtown area.

Oldest buses in the Nashville MTA fleet at the time of our visit in August 2010 were Novabus RTS models. Here we have 933 from the 2000 delivery and 922 from 1999. The buses, seen at the depot, have now been withdrawn.

Though seen in the depot above, 933 was out on service the following day and is seen in the town's Bus Station.

Peak hour duties done, 933 returns to the garage.

Back at the garage 927, delivered in 1999, is parked up in a line of RTS. Nashville had 35 RTS, the first 20 GMC models (900-919) delivered in 1979 and the 16 Novabus models arriving 20 years later!
