 San Francisco is now the final home of the American cable car. The car design however has been immortalised in copycat diesel powered trolleys used on city tours all over the United States. Even here in San Francisco mock trolleys compete with the real thing for the tourist dollar. This example is seen on the waterfront and is operated by Coach USA subsidiary, San Francisco Sightseeing. |
