There could not be a greater contrast in styles between the old and the new. A high floor New Flyer, 644, plods by M10 in the fleet of RTC's CAT. M10 is an optically guided Irisbus Civi. The optical guidance takes over on the approach to bus stops to bring the bus just the right distance from the kerb for boarding and alighting. M10 and 644 are seen at the Downtown Transit Center.

Maxi M10 is seen arriving at the DTC affording the opportunity to look at the rear styling of these striking vehicles. The order for the French built Civis was nearly cancelled when America and France fell out over Iraq War 2 and chips (French Fries) in America suddenly became Freedom Fries.

The Civi looks just as impressive at night, again at the DTC.
