At the end of the twentieth century, new low floor vehicles were introduced on the prestigious route from UCLA via Santa Monica to LAX. This New Flyer D40LF is seen at the Los Angeles Airport (LAX) Bus Station. A shuttle bus from the adjacent car park takes travellers to the terminal buildings.

Passing through Santa Monica on route to Sydney on Christmas Eve 2001 it was good to find services running - and shops open - till late. New Flyer D40LF 3835 was using its blinds to good effect alternating between route information and Seasons Greetings. Note the American flag added since 911 that year. |
