Rigid trolleybuses were to be found working to the east of the city. Built on Iveco chassis the electrical gear, and bodywork were supplied by local manufacturer, Socimi (Societa Costruzioni Industriali Milano). Seventy such trolleys were supplied in two batches: 901-920 and 921-970. This is survivor 934, but many have been sold or dismantled, 23 for further service in Bulgaria.

Thirty three articulated Iveco/Socimi articulated trolleys arrived in 1990 (100), 1992 (101-117) and 1994 (118-132). They had electrical equipment by AEG and most, like 104, were still in service in 2015.
