The previous September former London Buses Leyland Olympian L138 (D138FYM) in a blue Park & Ride livery as Ipswich 47 arrives at Duxford.

Ipswich Buses DAF DB250LF East Lancs Mylennium Lowlander 100
In 2003 Ipswich celebrated 100 years as a provider of public transport. To celebrate DAF DB250LF 100 (PN52XBM) was delivered in gold livery at the end of 2002 and was suitably lettered on its East Lancs Myllennium Lowlander body for the occasion. It is seen at Cobham in April 2003 and appeared at SHOWBUS in September.

Ipswich Buses Optare Excel 197
One of Ipswich's Optare Excels was painted dark blue for Suffolk County Council "Suffolkbus" routes, 197 (T790KNW), is seen at SHOWBUS in 2001. The bus was new as an Optare demonstrator and spent soem time with Bus Eireann in Southern Ireland when new. It later passed to Lucketts Travel as their 3401 (666VMX).
