 Between the bug eyed Volgren CR225L model and the CR228L version introduced with the Mercedes OC500LE, this version, the CR226L, was introduced. The livery treatment makes this model look more fish-eyed than bug! Certainly an improvement, but not quite there yet. This is 1215 (TP1215) seen in April 2009. |

 The bus had been photographed three years earlier when it was acting as a Perth City CAT pending the delivery of new OC500LE buses. Coincidentally it has, along with others of the batch, ended up at Mandurah with some of the DAB CAT buses sent there for the Mandurah Foreshore Express. |
 Parked in Mandurah depot on the Sunday at the end of October 2018 were two more of the CR226L models, 1217 and 1219 (TP1217/1219) with articulated CR228L bodied Volvo B12BLEA 3018 (TP3018).
