 Surfside divided its orders between Mercedes and Volvo with the inevitable Bustech bodies until Bustech started producing integral vehicles. This Mercedes O500LE with Bustech VST body, 776 (561KTU), is seen leaving Pacific Fair in August 2009 when only eighteen months old. It was doubtless amongst the first buses delivered in Translink livery. |

 Seen running light at the same time was Bustech VST bodied Volvo B7RLE 314 (483LQQ) delivered earlier in the year. |

 Forward to a wet day in early March 2016 and Bustech VST B7RLE 789 (535KXQ) of 2008 passes the Broadbeach Bus and Tram Terminus.

 Amongst the first integral Bustech XDi buses was 491 (026LHI) delivered in October 2008 and seen under the Pacific Fair signage the following August. It has a Cummins engine, though most of the initial buses had CAT engines, but the company later standardised on Cummins. |
