 Covered in an advert for times, rather than the tiles themselves is B12BLE 617 (617IIE) on school bus duties. The Volvo dates from 2004 and was another seen in March 2016.

 Not far from Surfers Paradise on weather that does not go with the location is Volvo B12BLE 636 (636IJO), another 2004 addition to the fleet. It is at the Broadbeach bus and tram terminus near Pacific Fair which has not replaced the bus station which is still under the shopping mall.

 With the G-Link tram tracks visible behind, 2005 B12BLE 675 (881INE) lurches off the Gold Coast Highway as it heads south, demonstrating the flexibility of the bus, which the tram sadly lacks.
