Parked in Rockhampton in August 2009 was Rod North & Sons Volvo B10M CO48 (292KNA) with bodywork by P&D Coachworks. Doubtless used on school contract work, the vehicle has 61 bus seats and was ex Brims Coaches 2 from NSW, it is probably still in their basic blue based livery.

Parked with CO48 was CO32 (CCT12), a Cummins powered MCA with NCBC coachwork, this time with 49 coach seats. The anonymous vehicle was then 19 years old having been with Sandgate based Cross Country Tours, which is where its CCT rego comes from. CO32 is no longer in the Rod North fleet.

This pair of ex stock Daewoo BH117Ls have P&D Coachworks bodies. The most interesting feature is their regos. On the left is CO51 (PINK09) is barely a year old with 57 seat bus bodywork and on the right more comfortable CO47 (PINK07) fitted with 53 coach seats dates from April 2007.

In the Rockhampton yard with the Daewoos and other coaches was this vehicle representing a differnt branch of Rod North & Sons business activities. There is possibly some insight into the "& Sons" tag as Rod North & Sons PowerStar truck, 404ILK is named "Three Brats"!
