Brisbane A1043 (390LLU) is a different breed to the previous MAN/Volgrens. Part of a batch delivered from 1001 onwards in 2008, they are diesel rather than CNG gas powered and it is therefore lacking the "Clean Air" kite branding all round. The bus was only three months old when seen in the city centre on August 8th 2009.

A slightly newer diesel powered MAN 18.310, R1062 (979LHI), is seen having just come off the Victoria Bridge into the city. In common with many of the fleet at the time it proclaimed itself to be part of the order for 500 new buses, coming in at number 124.

On the same day a pair of CNG powered MAN prepare to leave the South Bank for the city: T1338 (338KKI) and W1474 (397LLU). For some reason matching fleet and registration numbers seemed to end in May 2008, roughly midway between these two deliveries.

August 8th was a beautiful sunny day in 2009 and T1332 (332KKI) is seen on the South Bank with the city skyline behind.

The City BUZ underground Bus Station is not the best place for photos and access to the tunneled area is obviously restricted. However G1350 (350KFT) is seen loading at its bay.
