 The second Historiches Omnibus Europatreffen in Germany took place over the weekend of April 28th and 29th 2007. It was organised by Konrad Auwertar, former owner of Neoplan in nearby Stuttgart. On the Saturday of the event, the entrants paraded from the Speyer Technik Museum, through the town centre then on to Sinsheim. The two RELH coaches from Merseyside were amongst the last vehicles through the town. Royal Blue 2351 (837SUO) and Crosville CRG106 (AFM106G) paused and posed side by side by the main commentary point and were greeted by great applause from the assembled spectators, many enjoying the spectacle from the kerbside cafes. |

 Not captured by our photographer, Rob Passaway, but a pair of newly weds took the opportunity to be photographed in front of the British contingent. The Royal Blue RELH was the runner-up in the SHOWBUS 2006 competition for a sponsored trip to the European rally. The winning RML was unable to attend due to complications in getting the necessary transit clearance for a high vehicle across several countries. |
 Each entrant on the road run was posed briefly in turn opposite Speyer Cathedral for an offcial photo opportunity. |
 In the afternoon most of the entrants were parked up in the centre of Sinsheim, with the roads closed to normal traffic the rally entrants were dispersed around the town's shops and cafes. |
 On Sunday morning the Royal Blue RELH6G 2351 (837SUO) is loading up, parked outside the hotel where the party stayed. |
 Before setting off home, the pair of RELHs posed together at Sinsheim Technik Museum with the Koncordski Tupolev TU144 and Air France Concorde supersonic jets behind them. |
 The weekend was blessed with glorious weather. |
 Both coaches had special Sinsheim destination blinds for the occasion. |
 It was a shame more UK vehicles did not make the effort to attend such a superb event. |
