Courtney Buses Dennis Trident Plaxton President PJ02PZT
By 2014 a new source of school doubledeckers had been found in the shape of former London General PDL20 (PJ02PZT), a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident. It sports the new fleet insignia and the lettering on the side gives internet information and proclaims the substantial progress to environmentally friendly operations, well on course to meet government targets. Ironically the Trident is probably amongst the least environmentally member of the fleet.

Courtney ADL Enviro400 Optare RX58HVJ
Seen in Reading in May 2015 is a modern doubledecker in the fleet, RH58HVJ. The first two VDL DB250LF with East Lancs bodies in 2006, were an unusual choice for an independent operator. This is also an unusual combination, being an Optare bodied Alexander Dennis Enviro400. A pair of all Alexander Dennis Enviro400 buses was acquired in January 2014 for a contract linking Milton Park industrial area with Didcot Railway Station. This decker is seen on route 189 which links Reading with Wokingham in mild competition with First Berkshire, though their route transferred to Reading Buses in 2015 when First closed its Bracknell depot and left the town and its surroundings to Courtney.

Courtney ADL Enviro400 Optare RX58HVJ
Inside the bus was very well appointed and fully seat belted. Its primary use on the 189 is to cope with school traffic, the service being built around a school contract. The external livery ties in with the coffee culture of Wokingham, with all the local services in shades of coffee and buses named accordingly.
