Plaxton Prestige bodied DAF SB220 3272 (V272HBH) is one of the batch of gas powered buses which in their turn had ousted the Leyland Lynxes from route 321, which once linked Luton with Uxbridge. The bus is seen heading north outside Garston depot on crew changeover.

 New to Arriva Scotland West as a gas bus Shires 4491 (T494KGB) was transferred south to join Luton's fleet. Now degassed, the bus is seen by Wycombe's new Bus Station in October 2007 on town service 32. |

 Branded for the now discontinued route 100 from Aylesbury to Milton Keynes, SB220 3447 (R207VPU) is seen in Princes Risborough in June 2011 on the 300 between Aylesbury and High Wycombe. Red Rose resurrected the 100 linking Aylesbury and MK in under one hour in contrast to the Arriva X60 and 150 services taking considerably longer, |

 In May 2014 former gas powered DAF SB220GS 3275 (V275HBH) is seen in High Wycombe Bus Station on the Reading stand.

 Tucked at the end of the SB220 line up is a red painted bus, no doubt 3278 (T492TGB) in an advert livery for Heart FM radio station. It is seen at work in the centre of Watford in October 2013. |

 Just over four years earlier in July 2009, 3278 was photographed at Garston depot in a mauve advertising livery for Herts Mercury Radio. |

 In 2007 Arriva the Shires acquired half a dozen VDL SB200 buses with the short lived Plaxton Centro body for use on Watford town service 10. Centro 3403 (YJ57BWC) is seen at Garston depot in January 2011.

 Seen again, 3403 is at work in Watford on the 10 in June 2012.

 High Wycombe's singledeck fleet was given a shot in the arm in 2021 when it received this MCV Evolution bodied SB180, which had been a demonstrator for the Arriva VDL dealership. The bus, 2970 (YJ60GGO), is seen outside Sainsburys in July 2021.

 Like 2790, this Plaxton Centro bodied SB200, 3813 (YJ58FFC) arrived in the fleet in dealer white from the Arriva dealership. It was allocated to Aylesbury and is seen here emerging from the black hole of the twon's Bus Station in November 2021 bound for High Wycombe on the 300.
