These images are all from April 2005 of the GoBus Hamilton fleet members which were formerly with Lewis Hodgson Motor Services of Te Awamutu. Their GoBus fleetnumbers are a result of adding 200 to their Hodgson ones. With GoBus being formed in 2004 things were very much in transition during this visit. Of note, the Te Awamatu depot was an art deco building dating from 1937 when the company was founded. It was vacated in 2021 and sadly expected to be rezoned for housing.

New to Starborough Transport in Napier in 1994, this 36 seat Designline bodied Isuzu FSR600, still in Hodgson colours, had become 202 (TA2715) in the Go-bus Hamilton fleet. |
|   |
Another small Isuzu coach in a later manifestation of Hodgson's livery was 207 (NA3961), a CWI bodied 28 seat bus on an MR1113 chassis. The bus was new to the Education Department as their 430 in 1985. |

The CWI Ranger body on this full size coach gives the Hino BX341 the look of one of the many contemprary MAN buses in the country. The 44 seat bus, 236 (MI6582) had been new to the New Zealand Police in 1986. |

Seen in the Hamilton depot with the Hino above was this diminutive CWI bodied Hino AC140, 226 (MI6736) which had been new to the New Zealand Forest Service in 1986, one of two bought by Hodgsons, with 250 (KW9525) a Midland bodied Mercedes OF1617 new to Dominion Coachlines of Lower Hutt, near Wellington in 1982 as their number 5. Hodgsons acquired the Mercedes from Plumbing World of Palmerston North! |

This pair seen in the yard are a bit of a mystery. The small bus in Hodgsons' colours is clearly numbered 228 and looks to be registered AET552. Australian Bus Fleet Lists suggests that 28 was a 2001 Fiat Ducato registered AET452! Contact us if you can help. Similarly the white city bus lacks any identity except, maybe, the fleet number 21 on the rear destination box, probably another ex-Auckland Mercedes. |

In Blue Worth livery, this 1987 CWI bodied Hino BX341, 132 (ND8344) was new to the RNZAF. Hodgson acquired it ten years later and eight years on it passed to Go-bus' Blue Worth operation. |
