Scania K270UB ADL Enviro350 bio bus
The experimental "Bio-Bus" is seen at the annual Brislington Bus Show in Bristol in August 2015. First Bristol's 68501 was the UK's first bus powered entirely by human faeces and food waste and the registration - YT13YUK - was selected accordingly. The gas is processed at a plant in Avonmouth run by GENeco, a subsidiary of Wessex Water. It has a Scania K270UB chassis and an Enviro300 body with 40 seats. The bus initially served the Bath Bus Company route between Bristol Airport and Bath. With Bristol becoming European Green Capital in 2015 it transferred to First Bristol to operate route 2. It later joined the large Reading Buses fleet of similar buses as their 435 re-registered BU52GAS.

First West of England Wright Gemini 2 hybrid 39005
Another "green" bus at Brislington that year was an early hybrid vehicle, 39005 (LK58ECZ), a Wright Gemini 2 transferred from First London where it was WNH39005. It was part of a batch of five new in 2008, but after a short life in the capital were redeployed to First York for the Park & Ride. That then became their role in Bath as 39005 sports Bath & North East Somerset livery for that city's Park & Ride.
