On Sunday March 30th, the Bus & Coach Society of Victoria, in conjuncion with several operators and indivduals staged the first bus and coach display in the state at the copious grounds of the National Steam Museum in Scoresby. The site provided plenty of attractions in its own right with many working steam engines in vaast sheds and several traction engines in steam plus a miniature steam engine giving trips around the site on its circular track. This was supplemented by a free bus ride round the site and a dedicated shuttle service to Glen Waverley Station.
|
Arriving at the Steam Centre the bus display was in two sections beyond the main museum structures. The first section was largely Denning vehicles.

The history of this Landseer is knonw. New in 1992 to Wannon Roadways in Hamilton as EDJ186 it moved on to work in Adelaide for Murrays as 594. Later it became Ventura 227 (VTU594), moving on to Ballarat Coachlines as B9 (NSU522) and finally Premier Stateliner as 325 (WDO589). Its display livery seems to owe something to Premier.
