CUB540Y, one of Motts two ex West Yorks PTE Mark 2 Metrobuses which they acquired after their service with LT. Its short life in Yorkshire was as a result of financial problems within th e PTE and it joined London at a time of vehicle shortages. Its Motts life was primarily as a school bus and it is seen outside Oxford Ice Rink, in more exotic company.

The last of the Yellow Buses! Seen in summer 2005 in the new yard in Aylesbury and still looking in remarkably good condition, is CUB539Y. The ex West Yorkshire MCW Metrobus Mk II was near the end of its days in Motts' ownership. |
