DL16 (WHN416G) on route D15 to Barnard Castle. EFE got as far as this mock up of a Durham Disrict VR before they realised they were working from fake images. They would have done better to produce an FLF6G Lodekka as a couple of those actually made it into the fleet. For many years tiny Durham fleet was under the wing of United Auto and in 1968 it ceased to trade as a separate entity, which was about the time this VR was delivered to United as 606 in their Tilling Red livery. A scenario where it might have passed to Durham a few years later is a work of fiction! Model 30124 went on to be released in United Counties livery.
