In addition to some shortlived Austral bodied Volvo B10M high floor buses from Brisbane Transport Transit Systems secured no less than 34 nine year old low floor Volgren CR228L bodied Mercedes O500LE buses from the same source to kick of its new frnachise operation. Here is the bus behind, 1518 (MO6198) ex Brisbane 620 (620HOE) being followed by yet another Brisbane O500LE, 1511 (MO6186), former 613 (613HOE). In May 2019 Transit Systems had this Custom CB80 bodied Mercedes O500LE demonstrator, CJ65VY, on loan. It is seen heading into the city from Lilyfield on the 470.

A number of CNG powered Mercedes O500LE buses with Customs CB60 Evo II joined the fleet in 2018 with the second contract, Transit Systems taking on Region 6 in addition to the original Region 3. Unlike Region 3, large numbers of extra buses were not needed, the fleet largely transfering acoss from Sydney Buses and retaining their fleet numbers and regos. Seen in the CBD headed for Glebe Point in November 2022 was 1941 (1941ST).

After purchasing Scanias and BYD electric buses with Gemilang Eco City Bus bodywork, 21 similar buses entered service on Mercedes O500LE chassis. This was numerically the first, 8223 (MO8223), but the batch has numerous numerical gaps through to 8255, probably due to MO plates allocated to other operators. The bus was delivered in late 2020 but did nt enter service until 2021 ue to Covid. It is seen in November 2022 on layover in Park Street.

Seen approaching Railway Square in December 2022 was another of the CNG powered Mercedes, 1942 (1942ST) in a pink wrap for White (!) Fox - go figure. At least it got spared TNSW livery for a bit longer.

Seen a few days later - Christmas intervened - in original livery and approaching the Queen Victoria Building up York Street was another of the gas powered buses, 1974 (1974ST).

Back to the ex Brisbane Mercs and 1526 (MO6396) ex 360 (360HRE) was still going strong in Liverool nearly ten years on in January 2023.

Another CNG powered bus to get a wrap in April 2023 was 1891 (1891ST) from the 2008 batch, the others date from 2009. The bus is seen on Park Street, with the Cathedral behind, advertising Happy Snaps, a snack food, not a photgraphic product.
